Total 75 consignments were completed from the Khulna zone during the month of February 2023. Out of these 75 containers, 73 were shrimps.
In the month of February 2023, total $19.74 million has been earned from shrimp alone; where as, it was $18.34 million in the month of February 2022. So, it is $1.4 million more than the earlier fiscal year, though in terms of weight, it is way more than the last year February.
It has turned out obvious that the target of EPB’s (Export promotion Bureau) earning $500 million from frozen shrimp export alone is now a way far fetched target for this year.
