In the September 2023, there has been 80 consignment took place; out of these, one was soft shell crab and rest are shrimp container shipped out from the Khulna zone. The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) of Bangladesh set the target of US $328 million for the FY 23-24 from frozen shrimp export.
In the month of September 2023, the target was US $24.53 million to achieve the yearly target, though by the end of the month, total earning is trailing short of US $2.19 million and it is US $22.34 million.
