Junior Aquaculture Officer (Field Operation)

𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

• Educational background in Fisheries (Diploma Preferred)
• Fresh Honors graduates in Science disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics) from Public / National universities are highly encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in aquaculture or related field will be considered an added advantage

𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀

• Willingness to travel in assigned areas
• Motorcycle ownership and valid driving license will be an advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with rural communities

FISHBYTE is expanding its field operations to work closely with smallholder aquaculture farmers in the south-west coastal region of Bangladesh. We are looking for passionate, field-oriented individuals who want to contribute to transforming grassroots aquaculture through structured support, data, and practical solutions.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Maintain close engagement with smallholder farmers
• Provide on-field training and technical assistance
• Consultancy support for farmers across the aquaculture value chain (seed, feed, health management, minerals, probiotics, market linkage, etc.)
• Conduct regular farm visits and evaluate farm conditions
• Collect, record, and manage farm data in structured farm log books
  Assist in improving farm productivity and decision-making through advisory support

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀

• FISHBYTE will train up the employees to meet the field challenges
• Travel allowance provided for official field visits
• Probation Period: 6 months
• Salary during probation: BDT 8,000 – 10,000
• Salary increment and permanent position based on performance
